Patience and Poker

Impatience has sent more players home than probably anything else in poker.

Learn to temper your enthusiasm for the game. When the cards are cold, stay in the game and focus on studying tells of the other players at the table. Keep your mind productive, and don’t rush getting into a hand because you’re bored – that’s how players get into trouble. In the game of poker, patience definitely is a virtue, and it will pay off for you, if you practice.
